    After activating the Belleza Theme I get the above error when trying to use the Theme Editor. It also happens when I try to run the Duplicator plugin.

    Hi

    Try to deactivate the plugin and if the problem still persist then it is possibly a server issue.
    Since Error 500 consider as a server down.

    Thank you for your response. When I switch to any theme other than Belleze the Theme Editor works so the problem is in the theme. Also a 500 Internal Server Error can be due to a malformed command in a theme or plugin.
