Slider Text Box

Hello — I tried to look up the answer to my question — I’m trying to remove the big text box on my first slider image. I tried inserting this code into the additional css box : .nivo-caption{display:none} but it did not work. Is that the correct thing to do? Or is it possible to have a single text box – and not the three boxes and the button?

Thank you. That’s perfect.

One more question — I’ve removed the “inner page banner” but there is still a large white space between the header and the page text. Is there a way to remove this? Thank you for your help – I really appreciate it.

Also – would there be a reason why my homepage top menu links are displaying differently? Specifically, the 3 that are page anchor links turn a different color and I don’t seem to see an “anchor link” font/ background color option in the settings. http://39h.dc8.myftpupload.com/ I want them all to look like the true link (for Syndrome)
